Mr. Chewy Review: A Great way to shop for pet supplies

I recently got to try out a new pet food and supplies delivery service, Mr. Chewy. Especially in the winter I hate having to carry pet food and supplies in the cart to the checkout to my car into my home, Mr. Chewy solves all this by FedEx bringing me my box of pet supplies. What is also great is that you can have them send you the pet supplies on a regular basis and get a discount which I am considering once I realize how often my pets go through their food.

As you can see everything is in great condition!

I had a $50 gift code Mr. Chewy provided me to be able to review their site. I chose a case of 12 cans of Merrick Grammy's Pot Pie, 2 Merrick Flossies and a Merrick G.I. Bone for my dogs and a variety pack of Tiki Cat canned cat food for my 5 cats to try. They have great prices and a great variety with over 70 brands of pet food (actually think its over 80 brands now) All of the prices from the products I got and get for my pets they are within a $1 or so of being the same price and cheaper for some things. For example Felidae 15lb bag is $27.99 on Mr. Chewy and $33.99 at my local Pet store. The flossies are $1 more at my local Pet Store.

Roxy loves chewing on her Flossie and can't wait for me to get her another from Mr. Chewy

Molly loved her Flossie

Happy and Spunky especially loved the Tiki Cat

What was so great was that if you spend over $49 the shipping is free so I got to spend the whole gift code for goodies for my pets. Even if you spend less then that shipping is only $4.95 which is still a great deal. Also it only took 3 days to receive everything I ordered which was super fast. It was way easier then having to go to my local pet store because often they don't have what I want anyways and no having to waste gas or go out in the cold. Mr. Chewy my 7 pets give you 28 paws up, way to go, I will definitely be ordering again. Another feature is they have great customer service available 24/7 so if you realize your running low on food you can even order in the middle of the night.

Disclosure: I received a $50 gift code to be able to do this review. All opinions are my own, my pets and I loved our experience with Mr. Chewy

Roxy's new Halloween Costume! Costume Super Center Review

As you all know Roxy loves clothes and she goes to the Halloween Parties at the Pet Stores. Last Year she even went trick or treating with me. So when I saw the most unique cutest dog costumes I knew she had to have it for this Halloween. I have never seen any of the dogs at the Halloween Parties wear a Kandy Korn Pet Costume and I also was picturing how terrific it would look on Roxy because she has the brown, white and black tricolor and she looks great in yellow. I also loved the black lace trim, it just gave it the final touch. Also the felt hat stayed on good, especially since she isn't used to wearing hats. The chin strap helped it fit securely. Roxy loved modeling it and looked darling in it. If you are looking for costumes for pets I highly recommend you checking out Costume Super Center's Selection. Roxy wears large in all her other clothes so that is what I got her in this costume and it fit her perfectly. This Kandy Korn costume is very unique, well made, and just too cute. Roxy is very happy with her new costume. I am sure with this new costume from Costume Super Center she will win at one of the Halloween Parties she attends. While all the other dogs are just typical witches, fairy's and pumpkins, Roxy will be the only Kandy Korn, unless someone else that attends the Halloween Party  shops at Costume Super Center to buy their dogs costume. It just looks so beautiful on her and fits so well.

Roxy wearing her new Kandy Korn Costume right after we received it.

See how well the hat fits and stays on her?

I am a little Kandy Korn, Aren't I precious?

I am beautiful as a little Kandy Korn, don't ya think?

OK mom, enough modeling, I am tired!

Disclosure: Roxy received her new costume for free from Costume Super Center so I could evaluate it. All opinions are strictly my own. I wasn't compensated in any other forms.

Walkadog Trainer Review and Giveaway

I have had the opportunity to use the walkadog trainer with Roxy for about the past month. It really helps you to teach your dog not to pull. It would also be great when you are teaching your dog how to heel because it keeps your dog right by your side. The walkadog would be great for your children to use too because you use two hands and it has comfortable padded grips. It would also be great for older people or those that might need some stability. It is great for all size dogs. It seemed to work really good for Roxy. The more I used it the more she didn't even try to pull.   It would be great to use with a puppy or a rescue dog that needs to learn how to heel or leash manners. It gives you two handed control to help you prevent your dog from pulling and jumping. It also has a  lanyard for added safety to keep you and  your dog safe. You can use it with any collar or harness.  Does your dog pull? Did you jut get a new puppy or dog? Would you like to get a walkadog for your dog? Well you are in luck! One reader will win a walkadog for their dog!

Calming Collar Review

Recently Roxy received a calming collar from http://www.calmingcollars.com/
Let m tell yo I was very impressed with this calming collar.  have tried other collars that are suppose to have lavender and pheromones and what not that only lasts a 1 month that doesn't really work. The first time I put this calm me down collar from calming collars.com  on her she did   her happy dance like when she gets a new outfit or a good treat. She was barking before I put it on her and after I put it on her she was quiet. She now wears it at night when it is windy or rainy out or when ever she needs calmed down. She is so well behaved with her calming collar on and and just lays down and relaxes and doesn't make any noise. Sometimes she growls in bed but hasn't when she has this calming collar on.She has not gone to the pet store since she has had the calming collar but has gone for a walk with it on and saw other dogs including bigger dogs that she usually barks up a storm at but all she did this time with having the calming collar on was 1 little hello bark as I would call it because it was a friendlier bark. It is also very stylish and shows her personality and style. Roxy chose the heart pink hearts fabric because she is a lovebug and loves pink.

They also have anti motion sick collars and cooling collars. They have a bunch of cute fabrics you can choose from to suit your dogs personality. Does your dog need a calming, anti motion sick or cooling collar? If so you can get a 10% discount on your entire order at http://www.calmingcollars.com/
Just enter the code ROXY(works lower or uppercase) at checkout were it says discount code and  you will get 10% off your entire order. So order your calming anti motion sickness and cooling collars for all of your dogs today! These collars really work!

Disclaimer: I received 1 calming collar to do this review and was not compensated in any other way. These  opinions and thoughts are strictly my own.

Thundershirt Review

Roxy tested out a a heather grey thundershirt. It was very easy to put on and take off. As a lot of you know Roxy doesn't like you to take her clothes off so this was good because i didn't have to put it over her head to take it off, It just Velcro's on and off. She has been using it on and off for the last few weeks and she seems more relaxed at the pet store and during car rides when she wears her thundershirt. Tonight she used it while it was thundering it I put it on her right away and she stopped barking and simmered down and relaxed. The thundershirt is supposed to help problem barking in which Roxy's case it did a pretty good job. She was also better behaved in the car when she wore her thundershirt. The thundershirt seems to be able to calm Roxy down very quickly. Also it still works, actually maybe better when I put on one of Roxy's sweaters on over it because she loves being girlie. I imagine the pink Rugby thundershirt would work even better then the grey thundershirt for Roxy because she seems better behaved also when she has on stylish clothes and is 100% girl and loves to show it. Overall I was impressed with the thundershirt. It is drug free and recommended by thousands of vets and trainers. It is only $36 for the heather grey thundershirt. It is $41 for the pink and navy blue rugby thundershirt. You can also get your dogs name embroidered on his or her thundershirt for an additional $10. You can purchase a thundershirt for your dog at:  http://www.thundershirt.com/OrderNow/ and other online stores. Thundershirts come in sizes xxs to XXL, Roxy wore a medium and it fit her very nice. For more information you can visit:  http://www.thundershirt.com/  or contact me if you have any questions

Disclosure:  I was provided a medium heather grey thundershirt for Roxy to be able to do this review and all thoughts and opinions are strictly my own and I wasn't compensated in any other way.
